Karen Baney has been bringing life to the desert through storytelling since 2010, crafting tales full of flawed characters seeking redemption. She enjoys weaving together stories of second chances and overcoming personal trials. Her novels span Christian Historical Romance and Contemporary Christian Romance, all featuring the Southwest settings she's come to love.
As a transplant to Arizona, she loves researching the state's history and finding ways to seamlessly incorporate real history and real settings into her novels. With over 30 books published through Desert Life Media, Karen has established herself as a trusted voice in clean, wholesome Christian fiction.
In addition to writing and speaking, Karen works as a Software Development Manager for a Christian ministry. Her faith plays an important role both in her life and in her writing. Karen and her husband, Jim, make their home in Gilbert, Arizona, with their two dogs, Bella and Daisy. Both Jim and Karen are active at Rock Point Church in Queen Creek, Arizona.
